The Houston Lawyer Referral Service is a public service of the Houston Bar Association and eight other local bar associations. We are certified by the State Bar of Texas and meet the guidelines of the American Bar Association. We have been helping people just like you find quality legal representation since 1958.

Finding the right attorney can be a real struggle. The trained, bilingual representatives that the Houston Lawyer Referral Service evaluate your legal situation and refer you to a qualified, pre-screened attorney.
The attorneys on our service average 20 years of experience, are you good standing with the State Bar of Texas and are evaluated on customer satisfaction.
It doesn’t cost anything to get a referral from us, but please note if you have a consultation with one of the attorneys, it will be a $20 nominal fee for the first 30 minutes of the consultation.
You are not under any obligation to hire the attorney, but should you hire them, please note the attorneys are in private practice and charge customary legal fees. UPDATE: Our attorney member charge very reasonable rates generally $300-$500 an hour.
Some of our attorneys charge flat fees and most accept payment plans after the initial retainer.
