The State Bar of Texas has a Disaster Hotline to assist people impacted by Hurricane Harvey at 1 (800) 504-7030.

Houston Bar Association Special LegalLine for the public seeking legal advice can call (713) 759-1133  between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning on Tuesday, September 5 and ending Friday, October 27. Licensed volunteer attorneys will be available to answer legal questions for free. Please note regular LegalLine hours are 5 – 9 p.m. on  1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month.
